'Morning Brew' Blogger Lookbook v.1

Hey Everyone!

At the beginning of March, we asked a few of our Blogger Family Members to participate in our first ever Blogger Lookbook. Instead of featuring a specific model for each season, we thought it would be great to feature our Blogger Family! Each of them have their own unique style that you will get to see in this lookbook. We also asked them a few fun questions to answer along the way so you could get to know them personally a little better.

The theme, or outfit challenge as we like to call it, was named as 'Morning Brew. The challenge was to style two different outfits they would wear out to their favorite coffee shop or tea time with friends. They did such a great job with styling their outfits as well as taking their own photos, which they provided for us.

The lookbook is fully clickable so if you see anything you like, you can simply click on the item or the shopping cart button, and be taken to the respective website. We have also provided links to their blogs if you would like to see more of their style!

Winter 2012 Lookbook: 'Glistening Winter'

Hey Everyone!

In the midst of all the moving and unpacking, we are so excited to feature our new lookbook for Winter called 'Glistening Winter'! Just in time for the holiday season!

When planning for this lookbook, we envisioned cheerful and festive, yet mysterious and romantic in the misty evergreen forest. It started to rain the moment we started shooting, but it turns out that the rain was in our favor! The rain drops made the trees and leaves sparkle and glisten in the afternoon sunlight!

It was also our first time officially working with Larson Talent Management where we got the opportunity to work with the bubbly and sweet, Ashlee Kozuma, who is the current Miss Teen United States! How awesome is that?! Her mom was also on set to lend a helping hand when needed! 

Some of the props you see in the lookbook were DIY projects that were created by a few of the August Wrinkle family and the help of my 7 year old niece! Who surprisingly had the best results when it came to crafts! Kelli who also helped with the crafts was on location to help with the wardrobe and keeping our personal items safe from strangers in the forest!

We also had the amazing opportunity to work with a professional hair stylist April, who did an excellent job with the hair! It did rain, but we got a few great shots of April's talented hair styling skills in some of the photos!

Again, we got to work with Kaoru Kohashigawa from Novalee Photo who always knows the perfect lighting and eye for what we are trying to achieve! Thank you so much for making our vision come to life, one more time! And Carson, thank you so much for being the hands on deck!

We are so grateful to have had so much help this time around, and I just wanted to give thanks to all of you who helped in the making of this lookbook!

I always feel like Fall is a romantic season... Its very mysterious and dream like with all the beautiful colors, subdued lighting and the chilly weather.

A low romantic bun would be the perfect hairstyle to wear for the Fall season! Its feminine, classy, and simple to replicate for everyday wear!

Behind the Scenes: Summer Lookbook 'Hello Sunshine'

Hey All!

We just wanted to share with you another behind the scenes video of our Summer Lookbook 'Hello Sunshine'! It was an all day event that took place in various parts of Honolulu to capture our idea of summer and to highlight some of our favorite summer outfits and accessories!

Tasha Johnson for her modeling talents and for putting up with us through another photoshoot =) Susan Ko Morihara who did Tasha's hair perfectly and had Shannon mesmerized lol and to James Francisco for being the videographer and all around helper and supporter.

Summer Lookbook 2012: Hello Sunshine

Our Summer Lookbook has finally been completed!!!

The whole theme of the lookbook was to showcase some of our favorite summertime outfits that are appropriate for the sunny weather while doing everyday type of things... Hanging out at the library, catching up on our favorite book, eating shave ice and musubi's (a local favorite), or just cruising along the beach.

In the lookbook you will find flowy dresses, asymmetrical hemlines, collared blouses, and a few key neutral pieces. We hope you enjoy what we put together, and we hope you find some inspiration for your summer wardrobe!

Lookbook Looks Sneak Preview!

This past Black Friday, instead of shopping.. well.. after a little bit of shopping in the wee hours of the morning ..=) the August Wrinkle Team got to work on creating outfit ideas and looks that we will be using in our very first look book, coming very soon! Our stylist Lauren was there to work her magic and pick out the best pieces to include in our lookbook =) Here is a preview of what we accomplished!
